The Minffordd Hotel in Talyllyn valley, Mid Wales is set in probably the most breathtaking scenery in Britain and is situated at the base of the Cader Idris with the summit being 1 1/2 miles NW of the hotel. The original parts of the building are over 400 years old so as you might expect the walls are very thick and there are plenty of originally features such as the original wood beams which can be seen throughout the building and our log fire which is a key feature during the winter months. We have 2 lounges available for guest to relax in at any time of the day maybe after dinner with a glass or two of your favorite drink from our extensively well stocked bar. Our restaurant seats a maximum of twenty people for dinner therefore reservations are essential to guarantee you a table especially at weekends. Breakfast is also served here with a selection of fresh fruit, cereals & fruit juices, full breakfast’s are cooked freshly to order. ...........................Please Note.................... We do not issue front door keys, and the front door is locked at 12 midnight................Pets are only allowed in 2 downstairs bedrooms rooms, a twin and a double, if these are taken then pets will not be permitted in any other bedroom, please check before making the reservation with us. .......................Dinner is served at 7pm each evening at £22,95 for 3 courses to include coffee, don't forget to make your table reservation if required.
