Originally a 17th century merchant's house, later to become a rare example of a classic English inn, offering award-winning food, drink and accommodation. Enjoy a drink in the Bar with its open log fire. In summer, the intimate walled garden is a real sun trap at midday and features a heated awning to one side for shade and evening relaxation. The beds are made up with duvets and white linen. If you prefer traditional sheets and blankets please inform us in sufficient time, before arrival, so the beds can be remade.Ample FREE private car parking.NEW SERVICE Overnight guests have FREE wireless internet access in their bedrooms aswell as downstairs in the Bar.NOTE. The Inn, on Mondays, is only open for Bed & Breakfast, however, there are alternative places to eat and drink on Monday evenings in the village.
