The imposing Scole Inn was built as a coaching inn for horse drawn carriages. Today this Grade 1 listed building continues to offer visitors a traditional introduction to East Anglia. The Scole Inn restaurant is renowned for its superb, adventurous cuisine complemented by a varied wine list and offers a good selection of cask ales and a wide choice of bar meals. Although there are fantastic fireplaces and a staircase that was hand-carved in the 1600s, the hotel has since modernised and offers guests a choice of 23 en-suite rooms with tea and coffee making facilities, telephone and television.
