Located in Knipton, a picturesque rural village in the Vale of Belvoir, on the boarders of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. The Manners Arms is a quintessential country inn, beautifully refurbished and managed by the Duke and Duchess of Rutland. Our restaurant serves a lunch and dinner menu packed with fresh local seasonal food, seven days a week. Our well stocked bar will satisfy, whatever your favourite tipple maybe, and in the winter gather around our roaring log fire. The Manners Arms inn is an ideal base to tour the East Midlands, we would recommend visiting Rutland Water which is the second largest man made reservoir in Europe, daily boat trips are available in the summer and the reservoir boasts a fine wildlife reserve. Belvoir Castle, home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland is a stones throw away and open to visitors during the summer months, with many events at weekends. Other local attractions include Sherwood Forest, where the legend of Robin Hood was born. Stamford is just 15 miles away and is reputed to be one of the finest stone towns in England. Melton Mowbray is just five miles away, famous for its Pork Pies and Stilton cheese. Rutland, England's smallest county is also nearby - Oakham the county town is also worthy of note.
