Lutwidge Arms Hotel![]()
The Lutwidge Arms Hotel is a Victorian roadside Inn set in the pretty Riverside village of Holmrook on the A595 midway between Ulverston and Whitehaven. It is only 3 miles from the sea and nearby can be found the magnificent 'Walkers Paradise' of Wasdale and Eskdale. We have 16 en-suite bedrooms; they consist of King-size, Family, Double, Twin and Single rooms. Each room has remote control television, direct dial telephones and tea/ coffee making facilities.
We are a no smoking Guest House. All our rooms have ensuite facilities. Family rooms have both a bath and a shower. All rooms have colour TV with Digital Freeview, Tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers. Please aim to arrive no earlier than 2pm. This can be amended by prior arrangement.
Check out time on day of departure is 10am. Dinner can either be taken in the Restaurant or in the bar from 6pm to 9pm. A full Cumbrian Breakfast is served in the Restaurant between 7am and 9am weekdays and 8am and 930am at weekends.
Well-behaved children are made especially welcome and are subject to the following.
Under 5yrs: no charge, 5 – 10 yrs: £5 per night, 11 – 16 yrs: £10 per night.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at our discretion but must be on a leash at all times. Please bring your own pet-bed. Dogs are allowed in rooms but must not be left unattended. For hygiene reasons and for the comfort of other guests, Dogs are not allowed in the Bar/Restaurant areas during meal times.
A confirmed Booking is made upon receipt of valid debit/credit card details whereupon £10 per person per night will be deducted.
