A 17th century Wealden Cottage with original Inglenook fireplace, once part of the Bettenham Manor & Sissinghurst Castle Estate and considerably extended by the present owners' craftsmanship with oak felled by the "great storm" of 1987; after which the beautiful gardens, full of wildlife were also created by them for you to enjoy. Bettenham is set in idyllic Kentish countryside within walking distance of Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, where Vita-Sackville West and her husband Harold Nicholson created a fabulous garden, now owned by the National Trust. The Three Chimneys Public House/Restaurant is also within walking distance. Were very fortunate to have far reaching views across our garden, open fields, lush woodland and beyond to the neighbouring villages of Sissinghurst, Biddenden and Frittenden.
