Welcome to the Murray Arms Hotel and Restaurant, a historic 3 star hotel in Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway. Established in 1760, the Murray Arms is a listed building retaining much of its character and original features.
The hotel is a perfect base for exploring some of the most beautiful and unspoiled landscapes in the UK, including the Galloway Forest Park. Other attractions close by include Cream O' Galloway, Dalscone Farm, Mabie Farm Park, Galloway Sailing Centre and The Gem Rock Museum. Whether you're seeking a test of your endurance in one of the many rugged adventure activities of the area, or looking for a short break in Dumfries and Galloway, or even a romantic getaway with walks along the stunning Solway coast and cosy evenings in our convivial restaurant, the Murray Arms Hotel and Restaurant is the ideal destination.
As well as our accommodation, the Murray Arms has a strong reputation for serving innovative meals using only fresh ingredients, sourced as locally as possible. Our chef takes great pride in using locally sourced beef and lamb, locally smoked trout and salmon fresh from the clear waters of the Solway Firth.
Open all year. Excellent base for outdoor activities including mountain biking, fishing, golf, cycling, falconry and horse riding. Bed & Breakfast and Dinner, Bed & Breakfast packages available.
Please Note: Smoking permitted in designated areas only. Small domestic pets allowed by prior arrangement, may incur a charge. Children welcome. There is a supplement of £7.50 per dog. Pricing for family rooms are based on 2 adults and 1 or 2 children under the age of 10 years sharing. A supplement of £10/child, on a bed & breakfast basis, will be charged for children aged 10 to 16 years. A supplement of £20/child per night will be applied for children aged 10 to 16 years and includes dinner. Supplements are payable upon arrival. Check-In time: 16:00 and Check-Out time: 11:00.
